The Citation XLS+ is the current-production evolution of the Excel → XLS midsize line. Over 1,000 units combined across the three variants — the most-produced midsize business jet in history. If you charter midsize jets regularly, you've flown one of these.

The "+" brought Pratt & Whitney PW545C engines (~6% more thrust, improved fuel burn), the Collins Pro Line 21 avionics suite with synthetic vision, and various cabin refinements. Same airframe as the XLS otherwise, same short-runway + mountain-airport capability.

Empty-leg pricing is the most consistent in the midsize category — expect $7,000–$14,000 for coast-to-coast US flights. High dispatch reliability (>99%) means operators rarely cancel.
