The Phenom 300 is the best-selling light jet of the last decade — over 700 delivered since 2009. Embraer built it to bridge the gap between entry-level light jets (CJ1/CJ2) and the older midsize Citation Encore. The result: light-jet operating cost + near-midsize cabin comfort + 2,000 nm range.

On charter the Phenom 300 is a workhorse for 6-7 person trips up to transcontinental US range. Empty-leg pricing typically $5,500–$11,000 for coast-to-coast. Embraer's build quality is noticeably better than the legacy Citations of the same vintage — quieter cabin, smoother ride, more modern cockpit.

Single-pilot certified; most operators use 2 pilots for charter. Short-runway capable (3,138 ft balanced field) — can land at small mountain/coastal airports bigger jets can't.
