FAQ
Planning Los Angeles
Are activities in Los Angeles usually available same-day?+
For big-ticket attractions (museums, palaces, skip-the-line tickets) - often no, they sell out 1-7 days ahead in peak season. Walking tours, food walks, and most day-trips still accept same-day bookings. When in doubt, book the night before.
Is the GetYourGuide price the same as at the door?+
Usually the same, sometimes cheaper because you skip queues that effectively have a time-cost. Where there is a skip-the-line surcharge, it is clearly shown. Most museums charge identical prices online vs at the counter.
Can I cancel for free?+
Most tours and museum tickets offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before the activity start time. Theme parks and timed-slot tickets usually do not - the cancellation policy is listed on each activity.
Mobile ticket or printed?+
Mobile works for 99% of activities - the operator scans a QR code from your phone. Bring a printed backup only for multi-day passes or when traveling somewhere with no data.
